The Great Treasure by Benjamin-the-Fox The Great Treasure by Benjamin-the-Fox
Well, this is the longest any single piece of art has been in development for me. Started this months ago, gave up on it, started working on it again a few weeks ago for an art class, got sick twice, which screwed everything up... and managed to stagger over the finishing line just now. I am so sick of this pic.

I've been doing nothing but shading and highlighting for days...

Anyway, this is the titular Lucre, from LucreComics [link]

This is the treasure that the crew of the Lamprey stumbles across and causes all of their trouble. It's sloshing around because it's inside an asteroid and there's almost no gravity.

Gonna submit this to Spectrum [link]

This'll be the third year I've tried to get in. Well, hope springs eternal...

Maybe now I can finally get back to my comic...

My biggest problem is speed and getting side-tracked by other projects...like this one...

speed? like you feel like you go too slow with the comic? or you feel like you go too fast?

yeah I get side-tracked all the time, if I ever want to finish the comic, I need to start making a schedule for myself.
how about you?

I go to slow. I end up spending a week on a page when I shouldn't be spending more than two days on it, at most.

I'd like to make a schedule, but I'd have to have a standard time that each page takes to complete, and until I can become more efficient that just ain't gonna happen. :(
