Let me describe the process of creating this piece:

*ahem*

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAGHH!!!

Okay, that's out of the way. This is watercolor on board over an ink drawing. You can see the original ink drawing in my gallery.

This Was Brutal! It took two months and countless man hours to complete. I'm so sick of looking at it and so happy to be done.

All in all, though, I'm pretty happy with the results.

I'm gonna make prints available for this one, soon as I figure out the system.

Wow...This looks incredible!

I like the background you add, It really gives a great sense of perspective and proportion. Personally, I usually find watercolors hard to work with, so it makes it seem all the more impressive to me to see this whole thing.

Of course I must say my favorite part would have to be the clothes hanging out to dry.

Watercolor ain't so bad, though I admit I cheated with this one by using white paint (a no-no among watercolor purists).

I'm quite happy with the result, and I hope it gets the attention i think it deserves (yes I'm shameless). Thanks for the fav!

I do EVERYTHING by hand.

I have a hard time believing its real myself, since, while I was painting it I kept thinking I'd be done in a day or two, and ended up working on it for about 3 weeks longer than I thought I'd need to.
