Artist's Comments

Marker pens and watercolor on watercolor board. Ended up being a bit more colorful than I originally had in mind, but hey, whatever works. Tried to capture that late afternoon light in a desert landscape. First time I've done a desert painting; interesting change of mood.

Stayed up till 4:30 this morning to finish this thing. After this I'm definitely gonna do some character based stuff or nature scenes. Tired of painting roofs.

Signs are in Russian because I feel like it.

As stated before: The older, richer part of town covers the upper plateau, while the newer section covers the hills drifting down to the flat, desert plain below.

I wish I could keep my drawings interesting. Especially the backgrounds 'n' landscapes... I also wish I can color things without messing it up, which it looks like you did this perfect I might add.

By the way, what's a Coty?

Okay, now that that's out of the way, thanks.

I wasn't that perfect with the coloring, but I tried to be careful. A few smudges here and there but it's as good as I could've hoped for it to be .
