I'm going to start assembling a sample comic now, but at the moment I'm checking out various "Hand-drawn" fonts, looking for something that looks natural and has personality (and isn't comic sans). Lord knows my own hand writing would degenerate into an illegible scrawl soon enough, and you can't have an mechanical-looking font in a hand-made universe. I've been downloading various fonts I find appealing and...hold on a minute, I've just had an idea.
K, I'm back. I uploaded a scrap of a few of the test fonts I played with in photoshop. If you happen to be reading this, a little feedback on the fonts I'm linking here: [link] would be appreciated.
Now, apart from that, I'm going to make high quality scans of all my finished pages to bring more consistency to the appearance of the work and do any minor clean-up work. Next I'll have to create a summary of the script that actually capture the spirit of the work without making it sound cheesy. Also...I must figure out how to make the printers at work capture at least some semblance of the subtlety of the ink tones.
Oh boy...
